I will just pop in for a moment to comment in general about the urge to add more crunch to AFF2e.

I've played/read/studied a wide spectrum of game systems from ultra-complex to hyper-simple, and the older I get I lean markedly towards the latter.

AFF hits the sweet-spot for having some details but not too many. It is lite, flexible, and can be enhanced by any moderately-intelligent referee or player, or just left as-is. The learning curve is gentle and will not scare off people who deem D&D to be far too elaborate.

I think houseruling and posting one's ideas on such is highly encouraged, but I wouldn't want to pressure the Powers That Be to publish the game in such a way that rules-creep is an eventuality -- lest it become a Gordian Knot reminiscent of D&D's 3.0 or even Spycraft 2.0.
