Sword Daughter - 80s gamebook now in visual novel form

So, the other year, I was visiting a used bookstore and stumbled across a cheap copy of a gamebook from a series I hadn't heard of. It was a simple oldschool fantasy story aimed at girls, one of the earliest such titles for that audience. As a visual novel author, I wanted to experiment with building bridges between VNs and gamebooks. And so, some licensing agreements and a lot of artwork later, here we are!

The text and decision-making is almost unchanged (The author revised the text somewhat for the Kindle re-release, and some words have to be lost for formatting) but the characters and scenes are now fully depicted in painted fantasy style, instead of just the occasional illustration.

Game listing on my site: http://ift.tt/180JRD9

Game listing on Steam: http://ift.tt/1Etsncr

I'm also giving away a free copy on my forums: http://ift.tt/1Etsmp2
